The Stand Alone Paintings involve the very unique thoughts, feelings, and experiences that led to the creation of each of the works. They each have a story behind them.

Literature and poetry have had a profound influence on many of the images in my paintings.  Music and dance have had their special impact too. Special causes close to my heart are included in others. And, as you might imagine, several individual people have inspired the rest.
